Down Hill Mountain biking
In 2006 I started racing Down Hill Mountain bikes and have really started to enjoy it. Paul and I raced the Corral Hollow DH, the Sea Otter, and the Weaverville Bigfoot race. I started the year out on my Giant AC2 but after the Corral Hollow DH I felt that I needed something a little more suited to the aggressive riding that I was trying to do so I have built up the Weapon X.

Where we ride/race, land on our heads:

Check out the gallery of photos from the Weaverville DH race. Here are the Downhill results. I took 1st place in my category! |
The Sea Otter Classic is one of our favorites as long as it
isn't raining.

Downieville. Need I say any more? | Paul and I took the BetterRide 3 day camp with Gene Hamilton
last weekend and it was great. We both really felt like we learned a
tremendous amount in the class and we are sure that we are going to see huge
improvements in our results because of it. I can't wait until the next race
to apply all the skills and techniques I learned! The camp was held at Bootleg Canyon which was an awesome mountain bike park. |
